Looking for help with horns here.

I would like to add a new horn setup to my car, I am looking for a deep fog horn sound like a Mercedes 600. Anyone have any advice?

Thanks!

I investigated this a while back, actually. What you're looking for, broadly, are low-pitch horns along the lines of Bosch or other Supertone or Megatone lines. They have multiple pitches you can get them in, and multiple voltages - the 24V ones in a low pitch would be less loud, but even lower if you ran them on 12V, they just wouldn't last as long.

There's also a classic setup that was equipped to Cadillacs that was a *five tone* chord - it's not that hard to duplicate, but it's far less low and boomey. More of a train sound.

Early 90's Buick Park Ave horns. They're just this side of a truck's air horn.
